Tourist electronic visa

The Kenya Tourist e-Visa (ETA) is intended for Georgian citizens visiting Kenya for tourism, leisure, visiting friends or family, or for short-term medical treatment. It is a single-entry permit that allows you to stay in the country for a maximum of 90 days within a 3-month period from the date of issue. From January 2024, Kenya has introduced an electronic travel authorization (ETA) system, which will replace the traditional e-visa. However, on GetVisa.ge, we will still refer to it as a tourist e-visa, as its function and application process remain essentially the same.

This type of e-visa does not allow you to work, study or set up a business in Kenya. If your purpose is to study, work or reside permanently, you should apply for the appropriate category, such as a study visa or a business visa . The tourist e-visa is ideal for those planning to go on safari, relax on the beach or explore the cultural attractions of Nairobi. It is also suitable for those who want to visit family or friends for a short visit.

The Kenya Tourist e-Visa application is completely online, making the process simple and accessible for Georgian citizens. Similar to the Singapore e-Visa, the Kenya ETA system requires all required documents to be uploaded electronically. The application is submitted through the official Kenyan government portal. Unlike US or Canadian visas, the Kenyan e-Visa (ETA) does not require an interview at the embassy. The entire process is done remotely, saving time and resources.
