The eVisa System: Georgian passport holders apply online at evisa.gov.bh, the official Bahrain eVisa portal managed by the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA). The process is simple: complete online form, upload passport scan and photo, pay visa fee (BD 29 for single entry, BD 80 for multiple entry), and receive eVisa via email within 3-5 business days. Print the eVisa and present it at immigration—accepted at Bahrain International Airport and King Fahd Causeway border with Saudi Arabia. The eVisa is valid for 90 days from issue and permits stays up to 14 days per entry (extendable once inside Bahrain for additional fees).
Visa Types Overview: Tourist eVisas suit leisure travelers (single or multiple entry). Visit visas require Bahraini sponsor (friend, family, or company) who applies on your behalf—common for family visits or business connections. Work visas necessitate employer sponsorship through Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and involve medical checks, security clearance, and contract approval. Business travelers can use eVisas for short trips or obtain sponsor-based visas for longer/frequent visits.
Entry Requirements: Beyond the visa, Georgian citizens need passports valid for at least 6 months from entry, confirmed return tickets (often checked by airlines), proof of accommodation (hotel bookings or sponsor letter), and proof of sufficient funds. Travel insurance is highly recommended, especially for medical coverage, as healthcare costs in Bahrain are high.
Getvisa Support: While Bahrain's eVisa is user-friendly, errors in application forms, photo specifications, or payment issues can delay approval. We handle the entire eVisa application ensuring accuracy and timely processing. For work visas involving coordination with Bahraini employers and LMRA procedures, our expertise simplifies the complex documentation and approval process.
